Hi, my name is Talia.
I grew up on a coffee farm in Newrybar in Northern NSW where my parents Annie and Franco planted our first coffee trees in 1989.
Our farm has a beautiful view of Mt. Wollumbin which inspired the front of our packaging. Growing up we had rows of lush green coffee trees covered in sweet scented blossoms and then coffee cherries. Planting those rows of seedlings with my parents is one of my earliest and most cherished memories.
Nowadays we have a roastery on this same property but our focus is on sourcing premium Arabica beans for our blends. Coffee has always been a part of my life and after growing up in a busy coffee business in my childhood, I then worked as a barista and ran my own Café in Akaroa, New Zealand.
Starting Caldera Coffee has been a joyful and natural progression for me. Making coffee for my loved ones is a cherished part of my life and I have been able to combine this love for coffee with my life-experience in the industry. I feel fortunate that I can follow my passion for exploring the complex flavours of coffee while still being able to work side by side with my family.
I hope you and your family enjoy Caldera Coffee as much as mine does,
Talia x
