On the East coast of Spain (Valencia), Grandma Concha used to make generous batches of her secret mustard recipe. She would then fill up the recycled glass jars she had been collecting all year round. For decades, she gifted these to family and friends over Christmas. It was her way of sharing and loving!
When Concha passed, I decided to continue with the tradition. I was one of the few lucky ones she shared the recipe with.
A few years later, in 2020, Cape Byron Mustard was born. Please enjoy this gift from Gramdma.

We acknowledge the Bundjalung of the Byron Bay Arakwal people, the Ngangbul people, the Minjungbal people and the Widjabul people as the traditional owners and custodians for parts of the Byron Shire on which we work. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present. We extend that respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples here today.
